We make a pitcher of juice at night to have with breakfast and lunch the next day. So, I cut up collards and mixed them with kale. I ended up with 3 containers, and still have half of the bag of kale left over. When I make the juice at night, I will use the greens from these containers.
I cut up carrots, celery, and green peppers and put them in a container. We can snack on them, or I will add them to our lunches this week.
I made a salad for my lunches this week with spinach, carrots, celery, and green peppers. I can't have a salad every day. Gets boring. So I just divided it into three containers. I will find something else for the other two days.
I made No Bake Energy Bites. Carter loves these in his lunch. Adam eats them for breakfast.
I also made homemade pizza dough for dinner. Disgusting. Won't try that again. It was so thick. Harper said, "Mama! Why you put bread on dis pizza?!" :)
I had to make more taco seasoning. Look at how pretty it is before you shake it up. Yes, I took a picture of my taco seasoning. This is what happens when your home alone with the crazies all day. And don't have another adult to talk to.
OH! I made these too! This is my favorite just-because-it's-clean-doesn't-mean-it's-good-for-me-snack. I don't have a picture. I could go get one, but I'm lazy and don't want to get off the couch. Anyhow. Try them! No-Bake Candy Bars! :)

When you make the juice, what do you add other than kale and collards?
ReplyDeleteAny kind of fruit (frozen or fresh), flax seed, water (or coconut water, or green tea). When we make the pitcher, we use the big cup from the NutriBullet and make it 3 times. And dump it all in a pitcher. That's enough for both of us to have one for breakfast and one for (or with) lunch. However, it really does taste better when you make it and then drink it right away. Sometimes, we make them in the morning (like, just one each.) And drink it for breakfast.
