You know how you pin something that says something along the lines of "100 Best Recipes Ever!" and you only like 2 of them? And then you have to remember which pin had that one awesome recipe in it?! Well, that's why I started this blog. This is my list of recipes that we have tried and liked. All in one place. For me to use when cooking and planning my meals. I totally started this for selfish reasons, but now I'm sharing it with you! Maybe it will make your life a little easier, too!

Back to School Meal Plan 2021
The fact that it's the last week of summer break is unbelievable to me. Like I literally can't even. Anyhow. There's nothing I can do about it!...
So... here we go!
This year Boy will have Cross Country every day after school. Harp will have Sharkies (JV dance team) every day after school and competition dance team twice a week! So, once again, planning out our meals is definitely needed for survival!
Last year I would get too busy during the week to make a meal plan for the following week. So my grocery pickup on Fridays ended up being random things that left me piecing together random meals. (Side note-- isn't grocery pickup the best thing that came out of this whole pandemic?! I literally haven't done a real, grocery list in hand shopping trip since before March 2020. And I am not mad about it.) Anyhow!
I went ahead and planned out our meals for the entire month of August. Click HERE to see my plan for August!
- I'm hoping this will help when I'm "shopping" and scheduling my grocery pickups. I also had like "themes" for each day, which helped me narrow down and choose meals.
- The links highlighted in yellow can be freezer meals, if needed.
- "IP" stands for an Instant Pot meal.
Meatless Mondays: Baked Penne Pasta, Salad, Sweet Potato Hash, Baked Tortellini
Taco Tuesdays: IP Cilantro Chicken, Chicken Tacos, Chicken Parm Casserole (I realize this isn't a "taco" meal. Not real sure why I have this one on a Tuesday, but whatever!), Shrimp Tacos, Black Bean & Sweet Potato Tacos
I don't remember the little phrases I had for Wednesdays and Thursdays! (Haha!)
Wednesdays: BBQ mac & cheese green beans, IP Pesto Chicken Pasta, Turkey quinoa zoodles, Burger wraps and veggies
Thursdays: Pork Chops rice brussel sprouts, BBQ Chicken green beans corn, Hawaiian Chicken, IP Honey Bourbon Chicken
Fridays: Frozen pizza!!
Let me know if you have questions!
